Kellian and the adult purple alien in a purple dress appear beside a glowing display of a brick house inside the spaceship.

Kellian lies in a recessed spaceship bed, then gets up after the adult leaves.

Kaylian and Kevlian appear in the spaceship. Kevlian wears a flat cap and holds a dark drink container. Kaylian checks the empty bed, then shouts.

Kaylian and Kevlian appear at a spaceship control panel, then the large craft descends through clouds and over the neighbourhood.

A black-and-white cow enters the neighbourhood and is lifted into the spaceship. It appears in the cockpit with Kaylian and Kevlian, then chases them through a corridor.

Dan rides the cow through the spaceship’s industrial interior. It reaches Kaylian and Kevlian and knocks Kevlian over.

Dan appears at the spaceship steering wheel. The ship then descends into a river; water enters the cockpit. Kaylian and Kevlian end up in the water with a floating armchair.

Grandad and the children dance in the room full of clocks. Kaylian and Kevlian arrive at the purple front door and knock.

Kaylian and Kevlian leave the purple front door and notice the neighbouring house for sale. Kaylian drags Kevlian away.

Kaylian takes Kevlian into White Gates estate agents, confronts the suited agent and brings both men onto a bus.

Kaylian throws a cushion at Kevlian on the sofa and leaves the house.

Kaylian looks through the neighbours’ window at BBQ Pig, then speaks to Grandad by the patio doors. Grandad retreats inside.

Kaylian and Kevlian talk in the street beside the red car.

Kellian and the children see the spaceship overhead, run home, and reunite with Kaylian and Kevlian in the street. The alien family embrace. The Jet2 aircraft remains in the neighbourhood background.

BBQ Pig runs across the lawn and street. Grandad chases it while Chloe and Callum watch. Kellian walks with Kaylian and Kevlian outside the neighbouring house.

Kaylian shows Kellian a plain bedroom. His magic transforms it into a bright toy room with cloud-pattern walls, a red racing-car bed, building blocks, a model railway and looping orange car track.

Kaylian and Kevlian talk in their living room. Kevlian goes into a narrow kitchen crowded with green cans and opens a well-stocked fridge.

Kaylian changes into Grandma’s appearance: a blonde bob, cream cable-knit jumper and blue trousers, retaining purple skin. Kevlian changes into a dark polo shirt and pink trousers, resembling Grandad but remaining purple.

Kellian phones Chloe and Callum from the new toy bedroom. The children answer while sitting on a bed elsewhere. His disguised parents prepare to go out.

The disguised alien parents arrive at the purple front door and encounter the ostrich in the doorway.

Kaylian and Kevlian visit the grandparents while wearing their disguises. Kevlian sits on the sofa with the ostrich; Grandma addresses him beside the television.

Grandad operates an extensive model railway in the loft, among exposed wooden roof beams. Kaylian climbs through the floor hatch and startles him.

Kevlian lies on the living-room floor as the ostrich pecks around him; Kaylian enters.

Grandma and disguised Kaylian drink together in the book-lined room. Grandad and disguised Kevlian share drinks beside a round barbecue in the garden.

Kaylian, still dressed as Grandma, sits on the sofa with Kevlian trapped underneath it. Callum finds and eats chocolate in the kitchen. The ending leaves Chloe and Kellian’s last shown hiding place as the laundry basket.
