A shopping day surprise

Kaylian and Kevlian leave the purple front door and notice the neighbouring house for sale. Kaylian drags Kevlian away.

Kellian and the children arrive in town by pink limousine, meet Curtis outside PureGym and walk to McDonald’s.

Callum orders at the counter; a visible till shows 1000 and the staff stack a tall trolley with food.

Kaylian takes Kevlian into White Gates estate agents, confronts the suited agent and brings both men onto a bus.

Kellian and the children enter Jeanine’s Crochets, a pastel-fronted shop with yarn-filled shelves, crochet displays and a central counter. Jeanine wears red tartan.

Jeanine hands the children small crocheted purple alien dolls. They leave carrying the dolls; Kellian reacts to their appearance.

The trio passes visible shop signs including Dan’s Teleporters, Greggs, Joel’s Star Wars and Grandma Doll House. Signs establish what is depicted, not legal ownership.

They enter Karl’s Kebabs. Karl wears dark glasses and a striped apron, eats a kebab behind the counter, then assembles very large portions for the children.

Kaylian, Kevlian and the estate agent enter the neighbouring brick house. A case full of money changes hands; Kevlian settles on a sofa.

Grandma and Grandad arrive in the red saloon outside the purple-door house and talk inside the car.
