Survive the AI Takeover while rebuilding Doncaster in an Alternate Reality. Clear a ruined plot and it becomes a block-built world of your own, where the robots can’t reach you.
A BLOCK COTTAGE ON A CLEARED PLOT / ACTUAL IN-ENGINE CAPTURE · PLAY TEST
Some of this is playable now. Block building, clearing rubble, digging, potatoes, the two block styles and the two realities are in the development build as a test version. Crafting, more crops, Leccy circuits, multiplayer and the community ideas are plans, and each one is labelled below.
01 / TWO REALITIES
THE REAL STREETS. YOUR BLOCK WORLD.
Doncaster is real, ruined and dangerous. The plots you clear become a second reality laid over it, where the robots can’t reach you. You need both: one to survive, the other to build.

The real streets
The robots’ world: every real street, ruined, with machines patrolling day and night.
Scavenge houses, shops and lorries for food, water, ammunition and med kits
Supplies only come from here: nothing in the block reality drops them
Get seen and a hunt begins

Your block plots
Clear the rubble off a ruined plot and it flips into a safe, block-style alternate reality.
Build, dig and grow food there
Robots can’t see, hear or hurt you, and walk straight through your builds as see-through ghosts
Nobody can shoot across realities: not them at you, not you at them

02 / IN THE BUILD TODAY
CLEAR IT. BUILD IT. GROW IT.
A test version that proves the hard parts, playable in the development build. Any of the 13,192 ruined plots on the map can be cleared and built on, while roads and pavements stay clear.

03 / REBUILDING DONCASTER
FROM RUINS TO A NEW TOWN.
Long-Term Vision
Four illustrative phases of where the game is heading. Choose a phase to see the street change. It’s an illustration of the vision, not gameplay.

The Aftermath
Doncaster lies in ruins. Machines patrol the streets, and survivors scavenge whatever is left.
Surviving the ruins in single player is what the development build plays like today.

The First Plots
Survivors clear the rubble off ruined plots. Each plot they claim flips into a safe block reality, out of the robots’ sight.
Clearing, building, digging and potatoes are in the development build as a test version.
Long-Term Vision
The Rebuild
Block homes rise along whole streets of cleared plots, with farms, workshops and Leccy-powered contraptions.
Crafting, more crops and Leccy circuits are planned.
Players build side by side in multiplayer.
Long-Term Vision
The New Doncaster
A town shaped by its players: block neighbourhoods built together, and Doncaster’s landmarks restored realistically, in one shared world that keeps changing.
What one player builds stays for others to find.
The town visibly recovers over months and years.
04 / WHAT COMES NEXT
CRAFT. FARM. WIRE IT UP.
The full version grows in stages: crafting and more block shapes, then farming, then Leccy circuits. Some rules are still being weighed up, and they’re labelled that way.
05 / A COMMUNITY REBUILD
ONE TOWN. EVERYONE’S WORK.
The long-term goal is for Doncaster to come back to life over years of play, changing as a direct result of what players do. Its landmarks are the exception to the blocks: they’ll be built realistically.
06 / A LIVING VIRTUAL DONCASTER
SHOPS REOPEN. THE TOWN WAKES UP.
As the town comes back to life, businesses could reopen inside the game. Monetisation hasn't been finalised: the first focus is a game people enjoy and a community of players.
One ambition is to make the game free for genuine Doncaster residents, so local people can experience their hometown in a completely different way. It's a goal being explored, not an offer.
